The Hsiung Lab (pronounced sh-OWN) is a biomedical research group with interests in synthetic gene regulation, combinatorial genetics, and tissue biology.

We enjoy tinkering with the flow of genetic information, at scale, for fundamental understanding and therapeutic applications. We are especially interested in studying and engineering emergent properties of genetic elements.
